Military Heritage Museum Summer History Camp Support For the past couple of years, we have provided support to the Military Heritage Museum for their Summer History Camps. The camps are attended by youth ages 10-15. This provides a great opportunity for us to interact with the youth and provide them an opportunity to learn about and experience amateur radio. The camps are now over for 2025. We hosted 63 campers as well as the interns during the four weeks of camp. Besides learning about amateur radio and having the opportunity to talk on the radio to an amateur radio operator, the campers learned about basic electricity and electromagnetism and performed some experiments in those subjects. They also learned about the history of Morse code and had the chance to send and receive in Morse code. All in all, it was a fun learning experience for those who attended. I want to thank all those who took time out of their day to make this effort a success and look forward to next year’s summer camps. The events and corresponding weekends for the remainder of 2025 are as follows: Historic Date Events -- 2025 NOTA Dates Amateur Radio Clubs at twelve NASA field centers participate in this event, operating with various different modes and on various bands.
